The purpose of this Ryan White Part B Quality Management Program is to determine to what extent the needs of people living with HIV (PLWH) are being met and help providers better meet those needs.
To reach our goal we are setting standards for and measuring the performance of Part B-funded providers.
The Ryan White Part B Quality Management Program will:
Identify areas for improvement
Implement quality improvement projects using established tools and methodologies
Aid providers to improve their performance
Quality Vision for the Ryan White Part B Quality Management Program:
Optimal health outcomes for PWH served through a continuum of Ryan White Part B-supported services in New York State.
Provides guidance for the development and implementation of the Ryan White Part B Quality Management Program, including quality improvement initiatives and projects based on available data and trends, and to address areas for improvement utilizing best practices and improvement methods.
The Committee meets tri-annually and is chaired by Joy Williams and Dawn Trotter.
The Quality Management Committee established the Ryan White Part B Quality Management Plan describing the overall quality management program infrastructure, goals, and activities, as well as expectations specific to Ryan White Part B-funded agencies.
