The RWPBQMP has been established with ongoing input from stakeholders and communities affected by HIV. The specific goals include:

1. improving health outcomes for PLWH;
2. advancing the quality of HIV supportive services across RWPBQMP participating agencies;
3. ensuring that available performance data are used to monitor trends in New York State’s epidemic and to create momentum for improvement;
4. aligning with national public health priorities and external clinical quality management (CQM) expectations, including the HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau Policy Clarification Notice (PCN) #15-02¹ of the Public Health Service Act; and
5. contributing to the Ending the Epidemic Initiative in New York State.
